 Each year in Vacation Bible School, I share about the mission trips I have been on. I encourage the children to get involved with missions. |  At my church, I help teach the preschool age Sunday school class. This is includes a lesson, craft time, and other fun activities. |

 During my senior year of high school, I was honored to be chosen as a student teacher. I tutored students out of the 1st grade class in reading and math |  For the past three years, I have traveled to the Yucatan to share the Gospel. I have been serving as a missionary since I was fourteen. I would love to do this full time one day. |
 At Louisiana Tech, I serve as an officer at The ABS, Association of Baptists Students. I am able to plan out-reach events, give devotions, and encourage other college students. |  I have been a pitching coach for three years. I enjoy helping others achieve their dreams |
Throughout these past few years, I have involved myself in activities that I not only enjoy being apart of, but activities that will prepare me as a future educator, coach, and missionary. These activities have not only strengthened me as a leader, but they have also developed many of the attributes necessary in being a successful teacher. I have learned valuable strategies that I will incorporate in my instruction and I have gotten to experiment with many of the different philosophies of education.
